WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF PSYCHEDELIC CANNABIS
It takes a lot of bravery and vulnerability to step into the world of the unconscious and healing. It is my desire to be a steady, safe and present person that will hold space for you so that you can completely surrender to whatever healing wishes to come up.
As a guide we will meet twice prior to any journey to set an intention and develop a rapport. We will discuss any concerns, go through a safety questionnaire and address any questions that may arise about a journey. Yes! it is completely normal to be nervous before we journey. I believe that nervousness always shows us where we need to go.
While journeying I will support you in whatever way you need. Some clients need a quiet space holding, while others need to talk things through, yet another person might need gentle supportive touch. You steer the ship when you journey, I will gently help adjust the sails.
WHY WORK WITH CANNABIS?
Psychedelic cannabis can be similar to other psychedelics but it allows you a lot of agency. It is easy to come in and out of a process, and I can support you in “damping down” the experience if needed. Cannabis is gentle on the nervous system and helps repair it. Cannabis is legal in many states so there are no legality issues we need to work through. It is easy to purchase and adjust the dosage as needed.
Unlike other psychedelics there is no post journey “crash,” It is easy to get back into your day and continue as normal, though it is highly recommended that you take some time for yourself to process and integrate the information that came up.
WHAT DOES A CANNABIS JOURNEY LOOK LIKE
There is no “one size fits all” with cannabis work. It can be completely different from person to person and different session to session with the same person. Often Psychedelic Cannabis takes on an MDMA like affect, but it can be as intense as DMT/Ayahuasca. It is not uncommon to feel like psilocybin and to have visuals, memories and somatic symptoms.
Your journey will either be in a 3 or 5 hour time slot, depending on what you decide prior. It is a closed eyes experience as it is an internal experience. We may include CBN and/or breathwork to deepen the experience, and again that will be entirely up to you. Often times a first journey may dredge up stuff that needs some resolution so it is typically recommended that we schedule a second journey a day or 2 later. Many times issues will get resolved with a second journey.
During a journey it is very common to get shaky and experience tremors in your body. This is completely safe and even welcomed as it means the body is releasing trapped energy/emotions/trauma that was stuck there. It is also very common to experience many different emotions, and all emotions are welcomed and held in this space. Often physical pain/pressure may come up and intensify as it makes its way out. We welcome all symptoms as a symptom is something that is half way out.
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE BEFORE/AFTER THE JOURNEY?
Once we decide to work together we will meet once or twice before your journey to develop rapport, set intentions and get clear on what you can expect from me and what I can offer you to support you in your process.
We will meet once or twice following the journey to process the experience and see what lessons it has for you to bring into your day to day life. This part is often over looked and minimized, but is a vital part of the healing process.
Although I will be here to help you integrate (bring into your life the information that came up for you) It is highly recommended that you work with a therapist privately to help you deepen the integration. A journey is 25% of the work, integration is the other 75%. Journaling, art and spending time in nature are some of the ways to help you ground and internalize what you have learned.
